Laurens Walter is an Austrian actor, born on January 1, 1977, on Lake Constance in Münsterlingen, Switzerland, with residences in Hamburg and Berlin. He completed his diploma in 2001 at the WestfƤlische Schauspielschule Bochum and gained theater experience at Schauspielhaus Bochum, Wuppertaler Bühnen, and Theater Aachen. He became known through the recurring supporting role of Lars Lehnhoff in āStrombergā (2005ā2012, 26 episodes as well as in the 2013 feature film), further roles include Commissioner Fischer in āAus dem Nichtsā (2017, directed by Fatih Akin), appearances in āRheingoldā (2021), āSOKO Stuttgart: Schachmattā (2022), āHotel Mondial: Der perfekte Sturmā (2023), āDie Pfefferkƶrner,ā āNotruf Hafenkante,ā āWilsberg,ā āTatort,ā and feature films such as āDie ƶsterreichische Methodeā (2004), āMorscholzā (2008, lead role, nomination for Fƶrderpreis Deutscher Film), and āParkourā (2009); additionally, he is active as a Blue Man, musician (guitar, drums, violin), dancer (tango), and audio drama narrator.
