Brannon believes he was not ambitious enough to hiring writers. Scott Bakula speaks to how the writing staff was exhausted to work on Enterprise after just wrapping "Star Trek: Voyager." Mike Sussman speaks to how hard it was to find writers that can really write Star Trek shows. Brannon lamented that some of the episodes were generic enough to be done on any of the other franchises.
